Good results have managed to convince Multistanz to work with PolyMX and now offer Polytop MX® 650 as the long-lasting ejection material for their flatbed dies. Ralf Carell explains (director) about this partnership:
"When we first heard of Polytop MX®, we were a bit skeptical. Didn't we have enough profiles and rubbers? However, the tests convinced us of the qualities of this unique ejection material. And the better production revenues, higher production speed and the quality of the end products, justifies the higher purchase price of Polytop MX®.

The 4 most important benefits of Polytop MX® are:

  • Less cracks in the innerliners
  • Less and smaller nicks
  • Less angel hair
  • No ink absorption

An additional advantage is that we can work with less cutting pressure. This means a lower load for the machines and the die. We can recommend this material to anybody!"

MEDIA MESSAGE -  In the Spotlight... Container Graphics and PolyMX!

Board Converting News, a weekly publication, is serving both the corrugated and folding carton industries in North America. This respected journal has written an interesting article about the partnership between Container Graphics Corp and PolyMX.

A little piece from the article: "This unique approach has many benefits. Container Graphics has found that cutting dies utilizing Polytop MX cut with less impression. This means less wear on urethane blankets. Additionally, Polytop MX cutting dies create less vibration on press, which equates to less stress on the diecutter. Article Polytop MX in Dutch magazine: Verpakkingsmanagement

Just received some new test results from the field: "Lifetime of die multiplied by 3!" Too much waste in end product was the reason for designing a new die with Polytop MX® 600. "Realising a better end result was our goal, but we were surprised that this was not the only benefit of using Polytop MX® 600. Besides a waste free (!) run and thus no complaints of our customer, we also made a run which was 3 times longer than we are used to. The lifetime of the die is multiplied with 3, which is really unbelievable!
Normally, we can cut up to maximum 195,000 plates, now we have realised 587,000 plates, without any machine downtime or maintenance at the die!"

With much pride PolyMX has welcomed Visy Australia! ‘Proud’ to may give The Men from Down Under an impression about the work, culture and landscape of the Netherlands.  After a look in the kitchen of die maker Die Vision Eerbeek, they visited the factory of PolyMX.

PolyMX thanks Visy for their visit and this great picture, Die Vision Eerbeek and Winehouse Oktober for the excellent wine tasting!
