easy lay down & lift up

A helicopter landing area at the deck of a superyacht. It sounds wonderful, but a permanent heliport also takes up a lot of space and damages the teak. Maybe the biggest hurdle with owning an aviation capable superyacht is the trade-off between the aesthetic design features and the standards for meeting the certification requirements.

Well, that was how it used to be! A permanent heliport or a significant portion of the deck reserved for a helicopter deck is now past tense with our Superyacht Helimat MX.

Do you want to know what we can do for you?

The Superyacht Helimat MX is unique in its kind!

WHY? Due to the easy ‘Lay down & lift up’ principle it is possible to:

  • Lay a complete and fully fledged heliport within several minutes
  • Completely remove the Helimat within several minutes
  • Keep your deck available for placing lounges, movable swimming pool or other further uses
  • To meet al certification standards WITHOUT compromising your yacht’s aesthetic

The Superyacht Helimat MX is fully produced in-house and belongs to our Polyfloor MX (Polyfloor MX 590) product range, which is known for it’s high quality and durability. Because the Superyacht Helimat MX is part of our Polyloor MX-range, it possesses the following characteristics:

  • Extremely strong
  • Antiskid
  • Seawaterd resistant
  • Oil resistant
  • Coloured to the core

This keeps the “H” and any circle always clearly visible

The Superyacht Helimat MX should be stored in a place without UV radiation right after landing and take-off of the helicopter to diminish the risk of discoloration.
